With Brilliant sunshine and temperature to match we had the pleasure of flowering the Palm court at The Hurlingham clubhttps://www.hurlinghamclub.org.uk in the heart of Fulham, London. Set in spectacular grounds, which when you are there you almost forget you are in Central London. We have been working with our couple for over a year planning and designing this wonderful wedding, we couldn’t wait to get flowering and bring it all to life. With the vans packed to the hilt and a team fuelled with coffee and cakes we began the epic install.

Jenni and Rob wanted to use delicate white flowers with lots of shapes and textures and by far the star of this wedding was the silvery blue of the many varieties of eucalyptus we used. A 2am start on the Thursday meant that I had the pick of the absolute best that the fabulous Covent garden market had to offer. I have to say that any reluctance when setting the alarm the night before soon goes when you get to pick and choose hundreds of stems of some of the most beautiful summery flowers and armfuls of foliage.

The bride and her maids got ready in her family home in Dulwich, wearing the most stunning dresses!  Her dress was designed by @andrea_hawkes_bridal. https://www.andreahawkes.co.uk

Who also made her mothers jumpsuit  who looked so stylish and elegant as she took one of Jenni’s arm along with the father of the bride to walk her down the aisle. They arrived in white taxis to a very noisy greeting from the very handsome resident peacock.

The Groom and groomsmen got ready in the Half-moon pub ,https:www.halfmoonhernehill.co.uk  which is not only super stylish but also ha plenty of Dutch courage on tap. How smart do these guys look? They wore a fabulous modern take on a traditional morning suit and the look was finished with  cluster buttonholes of mixed eucalyptus.

The Hurlingham Club

With Brilliant sunshine and temperature to match we had the pleasure of flowering the Palm court at The Hurlingham club in the heart of Fulham, London.Set in spectacular grounds, which when you are there you almost forget you are in Central London.

We added touches of brass and copper to give this wedding a modern twist. Vintage brass vases, glass and metal  terrariums filled with flowers and a copper arch frame used to create the most dramatic back drop to the ceremony.

The table settings were bought to life with marble geometric coasters with each guests name written in beautiful gold ink.  We added a stem of scented eucalyptus to each napkin and the name of each guest was also on the pretty name tags provided by Loupaper wedding stationery.https://www.loupaper.co.uk

Who also supplied and designed the order of service, and information boards used throughout the wedding.

Upon arrival guests were greeted not only by the grandeur of the main entrance to the Hurlingham but we had dressed the steps with large urns of white flowers overspilling onto the stairs which also had lanterns filled with church candles and rose petals strewn in between.

The aisle lined with pretty posies of white and green led to the stunning arch made on a copper frame supplied by @weddingmetalart

Masses of eucalyptus, tall elegant white delphinium and white scabious adding movement plus many many more white flowers and silver birch foliage’s completed this display It became  the focal to the ceremony and then also used as a selfie spot for guests to add their picture using mini Polaroid cameras in the evening reception

We were asked to add a touch of floral magic and set up the unique table plan which featured wine and champagne bottles and lots of corks, each table was named after a wine the couple loved.

The dining room looked elegant with half of the tables had tall metal high riser stands which added drama when topped with a gorgeous display of delicate white flowers and lots of eucalyptus and mixed  foliage – we finished these with some vintage brass and bud vases underneath supplied by ‘Rock the day styling.’

The rest of the tables had brass geometric terrariums filled with flowers and brass vases which echoed the place settings/ wedding favours and gave this wedding an edgy modern feel.

The drinks reception outside in the glorious sunshine saw guests treated to a pull your own pint ‘@sidecar bar”  and it gave the photographers Tom and lizzie Redman  a chance to capture some of these gorgeous shots of the couple in the stunning grounds of the Hurlingham.

This would be a wedding I’d want to be a guest at – they had magican entertaining with card ticks, a New York brass band. Outdoor games which are great ice breakers – splat the rat, buzz wire etc. They partied hard into the night and treated guests to the only thing you want after a few drinks !! …… a kebab but not any old kebab this was Fanny’s kebab  delicious fun menu the perfect end to a wonderful summer wedding in the middle of London

This was one of our favourite weddings to work on this year, it’s so lovely working with a couple knowing they trust you to deliver their dream. We think we surpassed it !

A great team most definitely makes the dream work and we had fun setting this up fuelled with coffee and sarnies from good old M&S. We may have even snuck in a G&T while waiting to move things after the ceremony (hey don’t judge it was a hot day !) This was one of our favourite weddings to work on this Year, so lovely to work with a couple who trust you to bring their dream to life. And after all the planning and hard work to hear from the happy couple while on Honeymoon to say that we did just that and surpassed it !

Feedback from the Happy couple and their family ….

“Elaine – where do we begin!? Sorry this message is a few days late – we have only just stopped after all the madness. We want to say a HUGE thank you for all your incredible efforts for our wedding. It was hugely important to both of us that this wedding was beautiful, and unique; and you and your incredible team made that happen. Planning a wedding as you know is inevitably very stressful, and after any meeting with you Jenni was immediately put at ease – nothing was too much trouble, nothing seemed impossible. You adapted without complaint to any changes we asked for. Without a doubt Jenni’s favourite moment of the whole wedding was walking in and seeing palm court in all its glory, with Rob standing under that breathtaking archway (jenni has a few sleepless nights worrying about the archway!!). We are dying for the photos to come out. Mum mentioned how even the smallest details were attended to – like sprigs of eucalyptus in amongst the ‘Wish you were Here’ table. You are truly, truly talented at what you do.

We only hope we get to work with you again! Can’t wait to recommend you to everyone and anyone and we wish you all the best with your new Forest Hill venture.
Thank you again – Jenni Rob Linda Geoff. “
